PM Hails TN Farmer For His Waste To Wealth Invention At Mann Ki Baat

PM Narendra Modi at his 'Mann Ki Baat' programme lauded a TN-based farmer PM Murugesan for his agro-based innovation. Making ropes out of banana fibre, Murugesan also developed four rope making machines from plantain waste of which three have been even patented. Besides selling the fibre rope made handicrafts, bags and baskets for additional income. Murugesan has also trained over 1500 people from six states to export as he looks forward to export it to Africa.
