Pregnant Vaccinated Women Pass Antibodies To Newborns: Study
Pregnant women who get mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccine transmit high levels of antibodies to their newborns, said a study published in the ''American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology MFM''. It revealed that 36 newborns whose mothers got either Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine during pregnancy have protective antibodies at delivery. ''It could protect the babies in the first several months of their lives, when they're most vulnerable,'' said the principal investigators.
