SAD Walks Out Of NDA Alliance In Protest Against Farmer's Bill
The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has quit the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on September 27 citing differences over the farmer's bill. The decision was taken during a core-committee meeting between the senior members of the SAD party that went on for almost three hours. Party chief, Sukhbir Singh Badal, informed through Twitter that this decision was taken due to the "Centre's stubbornness".
