Singhu Border Killing Will Not Affect Farmers' Protest, Says Rakesh Tikait

Rakesh Tikait, the leader of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU), stated that it was "unfortunate" that Lakhbir Singh was killed near the Singhu border. He further stated that the incident will not affect the farmers' protest against the farm laws. Earlier, Lakhbir Singh was found dead with his hands and legs chopped off and hanged on a police barricade at the farmers' protest site, near the Singhu border.
