UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres Condemns Open Firing By UN Peacekeepers At Uganda Border
After UN peacekeepers allegedly shot dead two persons at the border of Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed dismay over the incident. "Antonio Guterres is outraged by a serious incident in Kasindi," said UN Spokesperson. MONUSCO head Bitou Keita stated that the perpetrators of the shooting have been identified and arrested. Notably, the incident also left several others injured.
