Wealthy Indians Tops Chart For Exiting Country Over Business Interests

According to a report published by Hensley & Partners, Indian High net-worth individuals have topped the chart for enquiring 'residence-by-investment' and 'citizenship-by-investment' programmes. The enquiries surged by 63 per cent in 2020 as compared to 2019. Reportedly, many applicants have queried about Canada Residency and Austria Citizenship programme. Besides, they have looked for European citizenship for overseas business interests. Experts have opined the preferences have changed owing to processing time and need for larger investments.
