Sale Of Non-Veg Foods At Roadside Stalls Banned In Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation in Gujarat banned non-vegetarian food from being sold on roadside stalls on November 16. The order said non-vegetarian items cannot be sold in the 100-meter radius of schools, colleges, and religious places. "People are free to eat whatever they want. But the food being sold at stalls should not be harmful and the stalls should not obstruct traffic flow," said CM Bhupendra Patel.

11-Year-old Gujarat Girl Appointed As Collector For One Day

Wife Falsy Declares Husband Dead, Obtains Insurance Money
A man from Ahmedabad named Nimesh Marathi has filed a complaint to police that his wife has managed to declare him dead and obtained Rs 18 lakh insurance amount three years ago. However, the police have arrested Marathi's 45-year-old wife Nanada Marathi and the accused doctor Harikrushna Soni for falsy testifying. Reportedly, the doctor had declared the man to be dead due to cardiac arrest on March 6, 2019.
