Delhi Govt Starts Offering Free Train Service To Ayodhya Pilgrims

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal announced that his government has added Ayodhya to the list of free pilgrimage scheme called 'Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana' on November 24. The first train under the scheme will leave from Delhi on December 3. ''We'll also add Tamil Nadu's Velankanni Church to our list soon,'' added CM Kejriwal. The online registration for the same has been opened on the Delhi government's e-district portal.

Super Luxury Sri Ramayan Yatra Train Begins Journey; All Seats Booked

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) on November 7 flagged off its ultra-luxurious Sri Ramayana Yatra train from Delhi's Safardarganj railway station. The 17-days journey costs around 1 lakh rupees per person. The train is said to be stopping at Ayodhya, Sitamarhi, Varanasi, Nashik and will end in Rameshwaram before returning to Delhi. The second tour will be begun on December 12 by the IRCTC.

CM Yogi To Contest In Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections On BJP's Decision

While talking to the media, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on November 5 said that he would contest in the U.P assembly polls by next year. Ram Mandir To Be Ready Before the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections

The General Secretary of Shir Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust said the construction of the anticipated Ram temple in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya district would be completed before the 2024 Lok Sabha election. He further added the temple will be opened by December 2023 after installing the idol of Lord Ram. Reportedly, the second phase of foundation work will also be completed by November 15 next month.

Doordarshan To Telecast Grand Ramlila Of Ayodhya

Ayodhya's Grand Ramlila will begin from the evening of October 6 at the Lakshman Kila in Ayodhya and will be telecasted live on national broadcaster Doordarshan. Bollywood personalities are expected to take part in the Ramlila. Adhering to covid-19 norms, the event is being organized virtually. It will go on from 7 PM to 10 PM till Dussehra on October 15 and this year, organizers are targeting 50 crore viewers.

Ramlila Celebration In Ayodhya To Be Held Virtually Amid COVID-19

Given the concern of the third wave of COVID-19, the Ramlila Committee in Ayodhya on September 11 announced that this year Ramlila will be organized virtually to let the people enjoy it at their respective homes. Doordarshan will virtually telecast the program between October 6-15. Meanwhile, the committee's President, Subhash Malik said, ''We've sent an invitation to PM Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind and UP CM Yogi Adityanath.''

Tiranga Yatra To Be Organized By AAP In Ayodhya

The AAP guided by Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh will organize a "Tiranga Yatra" on September 14 in Ayodhya. The Yatra may likely include the Ram Lalla Temple and the Hanumangarhi. Reportedly, the motive behind the yatra is to form a "very different" Hindu identity, religion and nationalism than BJP's.
