3 Sentenced To Death In Assam Minor Girls Rape Case; CM Himanta Biswa Tweets
A special court in Assam's Kokrajhar sentenced three persons to death on April 8, for raping and murdering two minor girls. The accused identified as Muzammil Sheikh, Nazibul Sheikh and Farizul Rahman were convicted, on April 6. Assam CM Himanta Biswa stated that he visited the family of the deceased and had formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to bring the case to a logical conclusion.

School Principal Sentenced To Death For Raping & Impregnating Multiple Minors
Herry Wirawan, an Islamic boarding school principal in Indonesia, was sentenced to death by an Indonesian High Court, for allegedly raping at least 13 young girls. Reportedly, he raped girls between 11-14 years of age, during 2016-2021, at hotels, schools and apartments. As per sources, at least nine babies were born out of the rapes. The court ordered a set of protection measures for the babies and the victims.

Akhilesh Yadav Found Innocent; Didn't Sign Petition To Commute Kasab's Death
On social media, several users claimed that Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav signed a petition with 302 people demanding a pardon for Mohammaed Ajmal Amir Kasab's death penalty. Ajmal Amir Kasab, a convict of the 2008 Mumbai attack. Reportedly, the claims have been found misleading and fake. However, it's right that about 223 people signed the petition but Mr. Yadav didn't, reported Alt News.

Taliban Preparing To Publicly Execute Afghan Prostitutes
Following the establishment of its regime in Afghanistan, the Taliban is reportedly set to pronounce the death penalty in public for women who have been involved in prostitution. To find the afghan prostitutes, the Taliban is taking the help of porn sites and preparing a list of women. However, the penalty will not be a new thing as the Taliban did the same during their previous regime between 1996-2001.

Former Nurse In US Pleads Guilty Of Raping Mentally Disabled Woman
In a US court, a former nurse, accused of raping an intellectually disabled woman in 2018 in an Arizona health care facility, pleaded guilty on September 2. Reportedly, the accused nurse Nathan Sutherland was arrested following the woman who gave birth to a baby in January 2019 and authorities confirmed his DNA with the baby. The sentence of Sutherland is scheduled to be completed on November 4.

Court Sentences 'Hollywood Ripper' To Death
Serial Killer Michael Gargiulo has been sentenced to death for murdering two women in the 2000s. Gargiulo was arrested by the police after one of his victims managed to escape and was eventually convicted for two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder in 2019. Gargiulo was nicknamed the "Hollywood Ripper" by Los Angeles media as one of his victims was dating Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher at the time.

Alcoholic Son Kills Mom & Fries Her Organs, Receives Death Sentence
Sunil Rama Kuchkoravi, a 35-year-old labourer has been sentenced to death by a local court in Maharashtra's Kolhapur for murdering his mother in a cold-blooded manner. Reportedly, Kuchkoravi is an alcoholic and has killed his mother in 2017 for ''satisfying his lust for liquor'' and fried her organs for eating. ''He forcibly eliminated the life of his helpless mother, which is the ultimate insult of motherhood,'' said the court.

Shabnam Files Fresh Mercy Plea To President Kovind, UP Governor
