Police Constable Amit Kumar Singh and his friend Harmesh Kumar have been arrested by Mumbai police for alleged involvement in drug supply worth Rs 1 crore, on May 11. The arrest has been made after Amit's name popped up after peddlers Pramod Kalicharan Sharma and Ismail Khan were arrested with heroine worth Rs 1.67 crore. Furthermore, Sanju alias Tillu who allegedly supplied drugs to the duo, is wanted. 

The Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad has recovered Rs 450 crores worth of heroin from the Pipavav port in Gujarat's Amreli. The drug peddlers had allegedly soaked threads in a solution that contained heroin and then dried them. They were later made into bales and stuffed in bags for export. " Examination and seizure proceedings by the DRI under the provisions of the NDPS Act, 1985 are underway," read a DRI release.

The Goa police arrested a Mumbai-based Youtuber MC Kurban (25) along with a Delhi woman (29) with banned synthetic drug MDMA, worth Rs 7 lakh. The drug was seized from their possession, confirmed North Goa SP Shobhit Saxena.  He said, "He tries to get into events due to his identity as a rapper and there he peddles his drugs". A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.

The Narcotics Control Bureau recovered psychotropic substances in large quantities in a three-day-long operation in Kolkata. Four persons have been arrested in connection with the incident, confirmed narcotics officials. In Mumbai, four people have been arrested for supplying drugs, said police on March 28. As per ANI, the four were delivering drugs in the pretext of riding an auto-rickshaw. The accused used to purchase drugs from Ghatkopar and supply the same to people in Goregaon. As of now, the police has seized the drugs and an auto. Furthermore, a case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
