Eleven Arrested in Guwahati; Dressed in Army's Attire with Fake IDs

Eleven men dressed in Army's attire were arrested near LGBI airport, Guwahati, on November 17 after failing to prove their legitimacy to the local police. Assam: Devotees Allowed In Kamakhya Temple Amid Strict COVID Protocol

Guwahati's Kamakhya Temple reopened on October 11 and devotees were allowed to stay for 15 minutes in the complex. Reportedly, the devotees were directly allowed to enter if they had a maximum three-day old COVID-19 negative report, or were asked to undergo a Rapid Antigen Test before entering the temple. The temple will be opened from 8 AM till evening. However, timings are subject to change in the Navratri period.
