2 SpiceJet Pilots Barred For Undershooting Runway At Guwahati
Two SpiceJet pilots flying the SG960 Bengaluru-Guwahati flight have been suspended by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) officials as they undershot the runway while landing. Eleven Arrested in Guwahati; Dressed in Army's Attire with Fake IDs
Eleven men dressed in Army's attire were arrested near LGBI airport, Guwahati, on November 17 after failing to prove their legitimacy to the local police. Reportedly, four men initially caught by the patrol team further led to the arrest of seven others from a rented house, where fake IDs and documents were recovered with zero weapons. 'Manohari Gold'- a rare variety of tea from Assam was has been auctioned for record price of Rs 75,000/Kg. The aromatic and antioxidant-rich Manohari tea is prepared from the finest tea buds and is hand-plucked only at dawn. It was sold to Vishnu Tea Company which will sell it globally through its official website. The tea earlier held the record for being sold at Rs 50,000/Kg in 2019.

Assam: Devotees Allowed In Kamakhya Temple Amid Strict COVID Protocol
Guwahati's Kamakhya Temple reopened on October 11 and devotees were allowed to stay for 15 minutes in the complex. Reportedly, the devotees were directly allowed to enter if they had a maximum three-day old COVID-19 negative report, or were asked to undergo a Rapid Antigen Test before entering the temple. The temple will be opened from 8 AM till evening. However, timings are subject to change in the Navratri period.

Assam: Special COVID-19 Hospital For Children Set Up in Guwahati
Mahendra Mohan Choudhary Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati, Assam has established a 55-bedded special COVID care unit for children.
