Islam Is Oldest Religion In India, Says Muslim Body Head
Maulana Mohammad Madani, the president of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, claimed that Islam is the oldest religion in India and the country belongs to him as much as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagat. On February 11, Madani raised his voice against forced religious conversion and took a dig against the BJP-led Government and RSS. He also claimed how people are being jailed in false conversion cases.

Varanasi Court Rejects Hindu Plea Demanding Carbon Dating Of Shivling In Gyanvapi Mosque Complex
A Varanasi court rejected the Hindu side's plea seeking carbon dating of the purported 'Shivling' claimed to be found in the Gyanvapi mosque complex. On October 14, the Varanasi court reviewed a petition filed by the Hindu side, seeking permission for carbon dating of Argha, which has been rejected by the bench. Furthermore, Judge AK Vishvesha also rejected the please demanding scientific investigation into "Shivling" founding.

Hindu Temple Vandalised In Pakistan's Karachi, Idols Of Deities Attacked
In Pakistan's Karachi, Shri Mata Mandir situated in Korangi area was vandalised and the idols of deities were attacked, on June 9. The attack created a panic across the hindus living in Karachi, particularly in the Korangi area. Reportedly, five to six masked men came in motorcycles, carried out the attack and fled the spot. A case has been lodged and further details are awaited.

Plea In Allahabad HC Demands Probe To Ascertain Presence Of Hindu Idols In Taj Mahal
A plea has been filed in the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High court, demanding a probe to ascertain the presence of Hindu idols inside the Taj Mahal. The petition especially calls for directions to the Archeological Survey of India to probe into the twenty-two closed doors inside the monument, to search for Hindu idols. The plea also relies on claims that Taj Mahal is a Shiv Temple.

Communal Clashes Reported In 4 States Amid Ram Navami Celebrations
Ram Navami celebrations became led to communal tension in four Indian states; West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Jharkhand. a riot-like situation broke out in MP's Khargone, Bengal's Howrah city, and Jharkhand's Lohardaga city. Whereas, in Gujarat, one death was reported due to the communal clashes. Furthermore, in all the regions, police and BSF forces took charge to control the situation and implemented law & order.

MNS Leader Detained For Playing 'Hanuman Chalisa' Outside Shiv Sena Office
Mumbai Police detained Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Yashwant Killedar and a taxi driver on April 10. The leader was arrested for playing 'Hanuman Chalisa' in a taxi loudspeaker outside Shiv Sena headquarters in Dadar, on the occassion of Ram Navami. The detained leader was taken to the Shivaji Park Police Station. However, as of now, no case has been registered against Yashwant Killedar.

No Meat Sale On Ram Navami In Bengaluru
The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) issued a notice, asking all slaughterhouses, meat shops, and other such establishments to remain shut on April 10, marking the Hindu celebration of Ram Navami. The Bengaluru Civic issued a notice regarding the same. Abiding by the orders of the Bengaluru Civic Body, one of the traders said, "We will follow government orders and not conduct business tomorrow. Tomorrow is a holiday".

Comedian Munawar Faruqui bids goodbye after his 12th show got canceled in the past 2 months, including the latest in Bengaluru. In his Instagram post, on November 28, Munawar wrote, "Nafrat jeet Gayi, artist har Gya (Hate won, artist lost) I'm done. Goodbye. Injustice." Earlier in 2021, Faruqui spent a month in jail, for hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus, insulting God and goddesses, in one of his shows.
