Spying Attempt On Former Pak PM Imran Khan Foiled; Accused Caught Red-Handed

A spying attempting on former Pakistan PM Imran Khan has been foiled, as the accused was caught red-handed. Reportedly, the accused, a cleaner, was paid money to install a spying device in Khan's bedroom. Another worker caught him while he was trying to install it, who then informed the security personnel. Earlier, Imran Khan had stated that his life is in danger, and that people are plotting to eliminate him.

Imran Khan Assasination Rumours, Islamabad Police On High Alert

The Islamabad Police is on high alert, after the rumors of the assassination of the former Pakistan PM Imran Khan. Notably, on June 5, Khan is scheduled to visit Gani Bala in Islamabad, following which section 144, restricting gatherings has been imposed. Furthermore, the Pakistan-Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leaders said, If Imran Khan is attacked it will be an attack on Pakistan, amid his refusal to sell the country, said Faisal Vawda.

Imran Khan's Azadi March Reaches Islamabad, Gives Govt 6 Days Time To Announce Polls: Pakistan

Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan's Azadi march reached the capital city of Islamabad, on May 26. Imran Khan addressed the march, and warned the central government. He said that if the election dates are not announced within six days, he will return to Islamabad. The Pakistani Army was deployed in Islamabad, to prevent the march from reaching Supreme Court and Prime Minister's residence.

Shehbaz Sharif Is New Pakistan PM With Majority 174 Votes

In Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif has been elected as the new Pakistan PM. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president was elected unopposed by Parliament on April 11. As per PTI, Shehbaz (70) will be the 23rd PM of Pakistan, with a majority vote of 174 MLAs in the parliament. No Trust Vote Against Imran Khan Rejected, Pak Elections In 3 Months

In a relief to Pakistan PM Imran Khan, the 'no-trust-vote' against him has been rejected by Deputy Assembly Speaker Qasim Suri, saying it is against the constitution, on April 3. Khan, whose government is facing a political crisis, demanded fresh elections in Pakistan, saying, "The conspiracy to take down this government has collapsed".
