NIA Conducts Raids In Jammu & Kashmir Amid Terror Conspiracies
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) carried out raids at multiple locations in several districts of Jammu and Kashmir. The raids which started in early hours is a part of its investigation into a terror conspiracy case, confirmed officials. The raids were carried out in Pulwama, Shopian and Anantnag districts, which is still underway. This is a developing story and more details into the raid is awaited.

Two Earthquakes Of 4.1, 3.2 Magnitude Hit Jammu & Kashmir Regions
In an hour, two earthquakes, of magnitudes 4.1 and 3.2, hit Jammu and Kashmir on the late night of August 24. The epicentre of the quakes was 62 kilometres northeast of the Katra area in the Jammu region at a depth of 5 kilometres, confirmed officials on August 25. Furthermore, no casualties or property damage has been reported in the Union Territory, said the concerned official.

Delimitation Commission For J&K Signs Final Order For Restructuring Assembly Seats
The delimitation commission for Jammu and Kashmir has signed the final order for the restructuring of the assembly seats in the Union Territory. The commission is led by former Supreme Court justice Ranjana Prakash Desai. Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said on the occasion of the Independence Day in 2020 that elections would be conducted in Jammu and Kashmir once the delimitation process gets over.

Bomb Hurled Into Police Station In J&K's Badgam District
In Jammu and Kashmir's Badgam district, a hand grenade was allegedly hurled into a police station by militants, on April 19. The police reported that no injuries were caused due to the blast, since the bomb went off near the gate of the station. 3 JeM terrorist Allies Held Captive in Pulwama: Jammu & Kashmir
According to police, three terrorist allies of the terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) were arrested from Pulwama, in Jammu & Kashmir. In addition, one AK rifle, three magazines, 69 AK rounds, and one grenade were also seized from the terrorists.
