Bomb Hurled Into Police Station In J&K's Badgam District
In Jammu and Kashmir's Badgam district, a hand grenade was allegedly hurled into a police station by militants, on April 19. The police reported that no injuries were caused due to the blast, since the bomb went off near the gate of the station. Following the incident, the area has been cordoned off and a search operation has been initiated.

Bomb Hurled Near CM Nitish Kumar's Public Meeting Site: Bihar
In Bihar's Nalanda, a bomb was hurled in the area where CM Nitish Kumar was conducting a public meeting, on April 12. Immediately after the incident, police officials rushed to the spot, to apprehend the attackers. One person has been arrested in connection with the bomb blast, reported ANI. Earlier on March 27, a man was arrested for trying to attack CM Nitish Kumar.

Bomb Found On Railway Track In Gaya Disrupting Train Movements: Bihar
A crude bomb was discovered on the railway tracks in Gaya district of Bihar. "Railway operations were disrupted for two hours after a crude bomb was found on the railway track near Guraru railway station. It is within 100 meters range of the railway station," stated the Superintendent. Notably, the incident came a day after Naxals set a poclain machine on fire in Gaya.

Security Forces Identify & Destroy 5 Kg Explosives Planted On Roadside: J&K
Security Forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district averted a great tragedy by identifying and destroying five kilos of Improvised Explosives Device (IED), on December 23. Reportedly, the search operation jointly conducted by police, 50 RR and 183 BN CRPF officials, identified the explosives which was planted along the roadside in Wanpora. Congress Worker Held For Hurling Bomb During Kolkata Civic Polls
Kolkata Police arrested a Congress worker based on the CCTV footage for hurling a crude bomb outside a polling booth in North Kolkata on December 19. The booth was set up at Taki Boys School in ward 36 of North Kolkata. Reportedly, a voter also got injured in the incident. Notably, the polling for 144 wards of Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) has been scheduled to continue till 5 PM.

Police Recover Letter, Explosives From Car Outside Mukesh Ambani's House
The Mumbai Police have recovered a warning letter stating "we have made all arrangements to blow up the whole family" from the suspicious SUV parked outside Mukesh Ambani's house Antilia. Poland: World War II Bomb "Tallboy" Blasts While Being Defused
"Tallboy"- a World War II bomb - blew underwater in Poland while being defused on October 14. Reportedly, the bomb was used by the Royal Air Force against a Nazi battleship in 1945, and was later discovered near a port in 2019. Also known as an "earthquake bomb", "Tallboy" was stuffed with explosives that were equally disastrous as around 3.6 tonnes of Trinitrotoluene (TNT). However, no one was injured in the blast.

Australian Navy Divers Tow Off Unexploded 45 Kg Bomb
The divers of the Australian Navy have towed off an unexploded bomb to deeper waters. The 45 kilogram bomb was found by a fisherman in April at Elizabeth Reef near Lord Howe Island. Reportedly, the Unexploded Ordinance (UXO) was carefully removed and towed off by a ship into 550-metre-deep waters. However, due to the deterioration of the device, the origin of the bomb could not be found.

Paris: Eiffel Tower Locked After Hoax Bomb Threat; Later Re-Opened
The French Police tightened the security and blocked the areas surrounding the Eiffel Tower in Paris following a bomb threat on September 23. The police surveyed the area surrounding the tower and evacuated all the people visiting the monument. Reportedly, the search operation happened after the police received a threat via phone. Later, the tower was re-opened after the threat was found to be fake.
