UP CM Yogi Adityanath Inaugurates UAE-Based LuLu Mall In Lucknow

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on July 10 unveiled LuLu Mall in Lucknow, the biggest mall in northern India. LuLu Mall features a Hypermarket, Funtura family entertainment zone, 15 dining restaurants and cafés, and a food court with 25 brand shops that can seat 1600 people. The 2.2 million square feet LuLu Mall will also have a wedding shopping center with the finest jewelry, fashion, and luxury watch brands.

Allahabad HC Directs Parliament, Election Commission To Remove Criminals From Politics

Allahabad High Court directed the Parliament and the Election Commission of India (ECI) to take proactive measures to "remove criminals from politics" and destroy the corrupt link between criminals, politicians, and bureaucrats. The remarks were made while refusing bail for BSP MP Atul Kumar Singh a.k.a. Atul Rai. The Lucknow police had charged Rai with aiding in the suicide of a girl and her witness outside the Supreme Court.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath's chopper made an emergency landing in Varanasi following a bird hit, on June 26. Reportedly, the chopper was in transit from Reserve Police Lines in Varanasi to Lucknow. Following the incident, CM Adityanath returned to the circuit house and will travel Lucknow by a state-run plane. Reportedly, he has visited Varanasi to review the law and order situation and the development works.

16-Year-Old PUBG Addict Shoots Mother Dead For Stopping Him From Playing: Lucknow

In UP's Lucknow, a 16-year-old boy shot dead his own mother, after she stopped him from playing PUBG, a videogame. Reportedly, the boy was addicted to the game, and after his mother restricted him, he eliminated her using his father's pistol. Police stated that the boy tried to mislead the investigation by narrating a fake story, involving an "electrician". The boy is under police custody, and further details are awaited.

Almost 11,000 Loudspeakers Uninstalled From Religious Places: UP

Fire Breaks Out At Lucknow Hotel; No Casualties Reported

A massive fire broke out at a hotel in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, on the evening of April 13. Seven fire tenders doused the fire, which erupted in the basement and spread rapidly in an hour.
