Two-week-old kittens went missing in Powai on Sept 4 after the housekeeper purportedly dumped them at a construction site. Residents exhibited displeasure through Whatsapp group, over kittens being fed & given shelter. Later, a missing report was filed by Neha Sharma to Powai police station. Notably, housekeeper Ramchandra was taken into custody under the Animal Act for abandoning kittens in a state of starvation and thirst.

Germany has been ravaged by floods on July 15 resulting in cars being washed away and buildings crumble in the western states of Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia. Over 45 deaths have been reported and around 50 to 70 people are allegedly missing. The population near Liege’s Meuse River has been urged to shift to a higher altitude. In a bizarre incident, a Russian AN-26 airplane with 29 people on board has gone missing in the Kamchatka peninsula situated in the far eastern region of Russia, on June 6. Reportedly, the plane lost contact with air traffic control while attempting to land. While flying from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to Palana, the plane missed a scheduled communication. Further information regarding the incident is yet to be revealed.

Karnataka Revenue Minister R Ashoka on April 28 claimed that about 3,000 COVID-19 infected people are missing in Bengaluru. He said that these people have switched off their cell phones by not revealing their whereabouts and spreading the disease. While the police are tracking them, he appealed them to switch on mobile phones. Ashoka urged them to reach out to avoid ending up at hospital ICU at the neck moment.

Nearly 20 COVID-19 patients have fled from Uttarakhand’s Tehri-based COVID care facility on April 17.  Reportedly, the doctors alerted the police about the matter when they found them missing during the routine daily check-up.
