Bombay HC Rejects Woman's Request For Annulment, Calling It Implausible

Bombay High Court dismissed an appeal filed by a lady who said she was compelled to marry the guy who physically attacked her since she was 14 years old, seeking dissolution of her marriage. Justices stated that no rational man would believe and accept her evidence since it was "improbable, unbelievable, and unacceptable." Despite her ordeal, the woman remained mute and passive and claimed he took pornographic images of her.

Bombay HC Rejects Plea, Orders Jogeshwari Slum Residents To Evacuate For Metro Rail 6 Project

A petition filed by over 150 slum residents seeking a new survey of Project Affected Persons for Metro 6 project from Swami Samarth Nagar-JVLR-SEEPZ-Kanjurmarg-Vikhroli Metro Rail Corridor was denied by the Bombay High Court. Ex-Cop Param Bir Singh Reaches Mumbai; Says, 'Will Join The Probe'

Param Bir Singh, a former Mumbai police commissioner who has been declared a proclaimed offender by Mumbai High Court, arrived on November 25. Earlier, the IPS officer who is facing extortion charges in Maharashtra told news stations that he was in Chandigarh. Upon arrival, Singh told the reporters that he would join the probe as ordered by the High Court.

"No Evidence" Of Conspiracy Between Aryan Khan & Others: Bail Order

In an order issued on November 20, the Bombay High Court stated that there is no evidence of a drug-related conspiracy involving Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha. Nothing improper was found in their WhatsApp chats, added the court. "There is hardly any positive evidence on record to convince this Court that all the accused persons with common intention agreed to commit an unlawful act," the order read.

Bail For Aryan Khan Under Many Conditions: Mumbai High Court

Mumbai High Court on October 29 made certain conditions before releasing the 23-year-old Aryan Khan on bail, accused in the drugs on cruise case. He wouldn't leave the city, submit a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh, and surrender his passport. Moreover, he has to reach the NCB office to attend the court hearing each Friday. The court can cancel the bail order, in case he fails any conditions.
