Union Cabinet Approves Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission For Next 5 Years

On Saturday 26, PM Narendra Modi announced a nationwide roll-out of the Central Sector Scheme, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). It was fixed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, with a full allotment of Rs. 1,600 crores for five years, read a press release. With this new form, citizens can link their health records and can access better healthcare and services in their area.

On February 13, Prime Minister Narendra met ex-Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga and expressed to strengthen the India-Kenya relations. The former PM is on a private visit to India and discussed several issues. "I fondly recollect my past interactions with him in India and Kenya," PMO tweeted. After three-and-a-half years PM Modi met the ex-Kenyan PM and also conveyed his best wishes for his good health and future endeavors.

Kanpur Bus Accident: PM Modi Expresses Condolence To The Lives Lost

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 31 condoled the loss of lives in a tragic road accident in Kanpur, and wished speedy recovery to the injured. In a tweet, Modi said that he is very sad to learn about the accident and expressed condolences to the families of deceased persons. At least six persons died and several others were injured when a bus lost control and mowed down bystanders.
