Sharad Pawar Announces Resignation As NCP Chief

In an event of political drama, National Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar announced to step down as the Chief. Pawar made the announcement at the launch of his revised version of the autobiography which was met with protests by party workers and leaders who asked the octogenarian leader to rescind the decision. Patel said Pawar did not take anyone into confidence before announcing his resignation, protesting the decision.

TMC Leader Mukul Roy is missing since last night, April 17. According to sources, Roy boarded an IndiGo flight from Kolkata to Delhi, however, Roy is untraceable. Notably, the family of Mukul Roy said, the last he was seen and traceable was in Kolkata when he was set to fly to Delhi. Furthermore, Mukul Roy and his son had an heated argument on Sunday, following which he flew to Delhi.

Malegaon Blast Accused BJP MP Pragya Thakur Again Skips NIA Hearing

Malegaon blast accused BJP MP Pragya Singh Thakur did not attend a special NIA court's December 19 hearing, making it second such instance this month. Her lawyer JP Mishra informed the court that she has been admitted to AIIMS Delhi since December 18. Besides her, one more accused of the total seven, Sudhakar Chaturvedi, was absent. The judge has now asked all of them to appear before the court on January 4.

Bihar: JD(U) Member Out For Morning Walk Killed By Two Gunmen

Two assailants gunned down a JDU member on December 6 in Bihar's Khagaria district. The incident occurred when the 42-year-old JDU member, Naresh Ram, was out for a morning walk.
