Apna Ghar Ashram Food Poisoning: 3 Dead, 15 Hospitalised In Rajasthan
In Rajasthan's Apna Ghar Ashram, three people died and at least 15 others were hospitalised due to food poisoning, on July 25. The ashram is situated in Kota, and the people affected reportedly, consumed food at the ashram. After consuming food, three people started vomiting, and some did not wake up. District Collector Om Prakash Bunkar said that borewell water could be the reason. Further investigation is underway.

Former Gurdwara 'Granthi' Thrashed, Hair Cut By Unidentified Assailants In Rajasthan
An unidentified assailant allegedly assaulted and chopped the hair of a former "granthi" of gurdwara Gurubaksh Singh in Rajasthan's Alwar on July 22. A "granthi" is a ceremonial reader of the Sikh holy book. Tejaswani Gautam, Superintendent of Police in Alwar, believes Singh was targeted because of a historical feud between Sikhs and Meo Muslims in Alawada village over supposed love relationships. Sadhu Who Attempted Self-Immolation In Stable Condition, Says Official: Rajashthan
In Rajasthan's Bharatpur district, a sadhu set himself on fire, as a way to protest against illegal mining. The condition of the sadhu is now stable, reported ANI. The incident occurred in Deeg on July 20, and the sadhu has been identified as Vijay Das. District Collector Alok Ranjan stated that the "state government will issue a notification in the next 15 days to declare it as a forest area".

Massive Fire Breaks Out At Vegetable Market In Rajasthan's Dholpur; Over 12 Shops Burnt To Ashes
In Rajasthan's Dholpur district, a massive fire broke out in a vegetable market, on July 17. The fires left over a dozen shops burnt to ashes. Immediately after the incident, several fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the fire. No casualties have been reported and further details are awaited. Earlier in March, airforce choppers were deployed to douse the fire which broke out in Rajasthan's Alwar district.

Udaipur Beheading: Investigation Reveals Murderers Maintained Pak-Saudi Links
Investigation in the matter of Udaipur beheading incident, has revealed that the murderers made calls to Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, days before committing the crime. Also, the calls were made using VPN apps in mobile phone. Reportedly, accused Riyaz Attari, the knife welder, visited Saudi Arabia in 2019, and met with a Pakistani national. The Pakistani national's identity is yet to be ascertained. Further details are awaited.

Incessant Rains Leave Several Parts Waterlogged In Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar
Due to incessant rains in Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar district, several parts have been flooded, on July 16. The monsoon has caused water-logging and heavy inundation in various parts of the city. Huge bodies of water can be found across streets, houses and shops. People living in the affected areas are forced to commute in knee-deep waters. Meanwhile Army and BSF personnel have been deployed to assist with the relief operations.

Eastern Rajasthan To Receive Heavy-Moderate Rainfall For Next 3-4 Days: IMD
In eastern Rajasthan, many places like Khanpur of Jhalawar, Sarmathura of Dholpur and Mandhana of Kota recorded 7 cm of rainfall each. On July 10, the IMD issued alert and forecasted thunderstorms, and heavy to moderate rainfall. Rajasthan weather department also confirmed over 4 to 6 cm rainfall in many isolated places of eastern Rajasthan. In addition, rainfall is predicted in many regions for the next three to four days.

Two More Persons Receive Beheading Threats In Rajasthan's Bharatpur
In Rajasthan's Bharatpur city, two men have allegedly been receiving beheading threats since ten days, from unknown persons. This has come days after the Udaipur beheading incident of tailor Kanhaiya Lal. Mohit Khandelwal, victim Satish Chand's son, stated that his father is a simple man who runs a grocery store. He further stated that his father doesn't have a social media account. Reportedly, security has been given to the victims.
