Conflict Erupts Between Maharashtra CM And Governor Over Opening Of Religious Places
Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on October 12, reportedly, wrote a letter to the Chief Minister (CM) Uddhav Thackray asking him to reopen places of worship with COVID-19 precautions. In the letter, he asked CM if he has turned 'secular' despite his Hindutva ideology. The CM in his response said that he does not need a 'certificate' of Hindutva from the Governor and a decision on his suggestion will be taken soon.
