India-Russia Joint Military Exercise Begins, Involves Counter-Terror Ops
India and Russia began their joint military exercise on August 5 at Prudboy Ranges in Russia's Volgograd. The exercise INDRA 2021 will focus on training the Russian and the Indian forces to jointly execute counter-terror operations as mandated by the UN. The exercise will also involve experts from both countries to hold academic discussions. "This will enhance interoperability between the Indian and Russian armies," the Indian Army stated.
