J&K Govt Allows 25,000 Devotees To Visit Vaishno Devi Per Day
Releasing the COVID-19 guidelines, the Jammu and Kashmir government on January 31 decided to allow 25,000 devotees to visit the Vaishno Devi Shrine each day. Earlier, the number of devotees was capped at only 2,000 a day. Closed since the coronavirus outbreak, the shrine was reopened on August 16, 2020. The government has also released guidelines for the reopening of educational institutes while asking them to follow the issued standard operating procedures (SOPs).
