Remaining Afghani Sikhs, Hindus Leave Country Due To ISIS Threat
Exodus of Afghanistan-born Sikhs and Hindus is consistently increasing due to a threat from Taliban and ISIS. Faced with acute discrimination, hardly 700 individuals are left in the country while the earlier count was 2,50,000. With their residences being snatched and temples destroyed by extremists, they blame government for not heeding their issue. While most left for India; for others, the communities' Canadian and European fraternity has volunteered to help.
