Union FM Presents Budget 2022-2023; Focuses On Women, MSMEs & Farmers
Union FM Nirmala Sitharaman, on February 1, presented the Union Budget 2022-2023. This year's budget has a main focus on women, children, infrastructure development, farmers and technology development. National Highways, medical infrastructure and startup funding for micro, small and medium enterprises are also under the budget, announced by Sitharaman. Sitharaman said, "we strive to provide a necessary ecosystem for middle class". This year, India's GDP is expected to be 8-8.5%.
