BJP Prepares Campaign For Rajasthan Elections, Meets Vasundhara Raje
Preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled mega event in poll-bound Rajasthan saw Union Minister and Jodhpur MP Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, meeting of a party colleague he doesn't see eye-to-eye with -- former CM Vasundhara Raje. The BJP's campaign for the state elections will kick off today, with a "Parivartan Maha Sammelan" in Jaipur, to be addressed by PM Narendra Modi, kickstarting election campaigns.

Asaduddin Owaisi Slams BJP, Says Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam Shocked Parliament
All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on September 24, said that the 'two' votes opposing the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam "shocked the Parliament." Congress Alleges Interference Of BJP In Election Commission Of India
The Congress alleged that the Modi government wants to ensure control over the Election Commission in a poll year. Sharing a letter written in June 2012 by veteran BJP leader L K Advani to then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said even he had said that the appointments to constitutional bodies should be done in a bipartisan manner to remove any impression of bias.
