Delhi CM Kejriwal And Deputy Sisodia To Visit Gujarat

Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) President Arvind Kejriwal, along with Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, is scheduled to visit Gujarat.  During the two-day visit, the duo will address a town hall meeting in Himmatnagar, on August 22 and a meeting in Bhavnagar on August 23. In Gujarat, the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Police uncovered a mephedrone production facility and confiscated narcotics worth Rs 1,026 crore. The party drug, popularly known as "meow meow" or MD, resulted in one of the city's largest narcotics seizures in recent memory. According to the investigators, the accused sold the narcotic using social media platforms and phone applications.

4000 Litres Adulterated Milk Seized From Truck In Gujarat’s Rajankot

In Gujarat’s Rajkot, around 4,000 litres of adulterated milk has been seized from a truck at a check-post. Reportedly, the adulterated milk was made using chemicals like Sulfates, phosphates and carbonate oils. According to the police, the adulterated milk is being supplied to the cities from the past four months. The police then stated that the suppliers and the factory have been identified.

Lumpy Skin Disease In Cattle Raises Alarm In Rajasthan: 94,000 Infected, 4,000 Dead

A Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) has spread across 16 districts in Rajasthan, and the government is considered a ban on cattle movement. About 94,000 cases of the said infection in cattle has been reported, with at least over 4,000 cattle deaths. Meanwhile, 70,000 are being treated for the disease. Gujarat is believed to be the epicentre of the disease. Notably, Rajasthan has a total cow population of about 14 million.
