Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Maharashtra MLAs, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and other leaders attended a dinner party at NCP President Sharad Pawar's Delhi residence. The dinner party was organised ahead of a training, set up in Parliament in the national capital under the Parliamentary system of the nation. BJP's Manik Saha Wins Tripura Rajya Sabha Polls

In Tripura Rajya Sabha election, BJP State President Manik Saha was elected as the MP, after winning the elections. A total of 55 MLAs of the 60 member seat casted their votes on March 31.  Of the 55 MLAs' votes, 40 including 33 of the BJP voted for Manik. Notably, two candidates Manik Saha and  Bhanu Lal Saha were in the fray for the Tripura MP elections.

MLAs Need To Pay For Houses Under Mumbai Project: Jitendra Awhad

Maharashtra Minister Jitendra Awhad clarified that no MLAs will be getting free houses under the 'New Mumbai Project'. After the Mahavikash Aghadi announced to construct houses for MLAs. He tweeted, "I would like to clarify that the homes will not be given for free. The land price + construction cost (expected expenses Rs 70 lakh) will be recovered from the MLAs concerned". Notably, MHADA will enforce the New Mumbai Project.

BSP Releases 2nd List Of 51 MLA Candidates: UP Assembly Polls

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on January 22, released its first list of 51 MLA Candidates, contesting the UP Assembly polls. BJP MLA Indra Pratap Alias Khabbu Tiwari's Membership Disqualified: Uttar Pradesh

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA, Indra Pratap alias Khabbu Tiwari from Ayodhya's Gosaiganj seat was disqualified from Uttar Pradesh Assembly's membership. The decision came after a special court convicted Tiwari for using a fake marksheet to get admission in college. Furthermore, he was sentenced to five years imprisonment. Elected as MLA in 2017, Khabbu Tiwari's membership is reported to be considered terminated from October 18.
