Manipur Ethnic Violence: SC Seeks Response Over 30 Missing People
In violence-hit Manipur, at least 30 people went missing in the past three months, said reports. Neither the Manipur government, nor the state police able to find these missing people, who went out of their houses like usual, but never returned home. The Supreme Court in a recent hearing raised the concerns and asked the officials to take action. In addition, the opposition also slammed the BJP-government for no action.

No Internet In Violence Hit Nuh District: Haryana
Amid the ongoing violent situation in Haryana's Nuh district, the internet has been suspended for the next three days, till August 2. Furthermore, a curfew and section 144 have been imposed in the region, restricting any religious or political gathering. Notably, on July 31, a communal clash broke out between two communities, during a religious procession. The tragedy turned violent killing four people, and injured several others.

Meerut Man Sexually Assaulted Minor Girl, Record Video
In a horrific incident, three men allegedly sexually assaulted a minor girl, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The accused identified as Shakir along with his two friends made a video of the assault, which went viral. The Meerut police has arrested the three accused, whereas a fourth accused in the matter is still absconding. All the accused have been booked under several IPC sections and the POCSO Act.

Maharashtra: 3 Unidentified Men On Bike Allegedly Harassed Woman
A Mumbai-based woman was harassed by three unidentified men recently in Vikhroli suburb of the city which shook her and caused distress.The incident happened at night near Vikhroli Park Site and she was with her husband at the time; the two then filed a complaint in the matter. The woman said that the incident happened on July 16 and as of July 27, no action had been taken.

Manipur Violence Incident: Police Arrested Mastermind Accused
After the social media outage, the Manipur Police on July 20, arrested one of the main accused who was seen in a May 4 video of two tribal women being paraded naked and molested by a mob at a village in Senapati district. The action against the gruesome incident was taken two months after the incident. They said several police teams were formed immediately and nabbed the accused.

Dalit Girl Gang Raped In Front Of BF, Police Arrest 3 Accused
In Rajasthan's Jodhpur, a 17-year-old Dalit girl who had eloped with her boyfriend was gang-raped by three college students in front of him, in the early hours of July 16. The accused who committed the horrendous crime were arrested by the police, within a few hours. The police investigation further revealed that the accused were AVBP workers working for the elections. However, the AVBP denied any association with accused.

Delhi Student Sexually Assaulted By Man Posing As Police, Arrested
In Delhi's Prashant Vihar, a 20-year-old college student was allegedly raped by a man, who the city police have arrested on July 13. The accused identified as Ravi Solanki, posed as a cop and threatened the victim to post her intimate video with her boyfriend online. He raped her and fled the apartment. When the victim confined to her boyfriend, the couple registered a case, leading to an investigation.

Delhi Shahbad Dairy: 16 Year-Old Minor Gang Raped In Park, 3 Arrested
In Delhi's Shahbad Dairy region, a 16-year-old minor was allegedly gang-raped in a park. The Delhi police confirmed the crime and arrested three accused, Bobby, Rahul and a juvenile, who allegedly raped the girl when she was at a park. Occurred on June 27 evening, and the accused were arrested two days after and the search for one absconding is underway. The incident came a month after horrific stabbing crime.

Thane: "Har Ghar Camera" Initiative To Curb Crime
With an aim of preventing crimes, the Thane Police launched "Har Ghar Camera". The campaign, urged Thanekars to install a CCTV camera at their residences.
