A day after Rahul Gandhi denied meeting with Navjot Singh Sidhu, the Congress General Secretary, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra met the Punjab leader on June 30 in New Delhi. Reportedly, Sidhu discussed his role in the reconstruction of the Punjab Congress. Also, Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are hoping to bring all the Congress leaders under a common platform to present a united front in Punjab's 2022 elections. 

The Delhi Police have detained Priyanka Gandhi and other Congress leaders who were accompanying Rahul Gandhi to meet President Ram Nath Kovind. Reportedly, the police had allowed Rahul, Gulam Nabi Azad and Adhir Chowdhury to meet President with two crore signatures against the contentious farm laws. After the meeting the President, Rahul said, “There is no democracy in India, it is only in imagination, not in reality.”

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on October 2 said that Congress will put pressure on the UP Government, and urged everyone to raise their voice against the Hathras incident. Speaking at a prayer meeting organised by Valmiki community, she promised that she would stand by the victim's family until justice was served. She accused that the government had not supported the victim's family.

The Congress on September 11 has reconstituted the party's working committee, which now contains 57 members as opposed to 52 members earlier. The party dropped some of its senior leaders like  Mallikarjun Kharge and Ghulam Nabi Azad from Congress' general secretary's post while appointing Randeep Surjewala for the same.  A six-member team has also been formed to assist Sonia Gandhi on organisational matters.
