IPL 2021: Skipper Rohit Sharma Fined Rs 12 Lakh For Slow Over Rate
The IPL organizing body has slapped a whopping fine of Rs 12 lakh on the Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma for bowling at a slow over-rate. Rohit was fined for the April 20 match against the Delhi Capitals played at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium. Citing it as MI’s first IPL Code of Conduct breach for the season the organisers stated that the fine was "minimum over rate offences".

Kohli Becomes First Cricketer To Conquer 3000-Run Feat In T20s
Indian skipper Virat Kohli on March 14 became the first cricketer to score 3000 runs in T-20 international matches. Kohli reached the feat as he hit the winning six in his match-winning unbeaten knock of 73 runs off 49 balls against England. Topping the T20 run-chart with an average of 50.86 runs in 87 matches, Virat is followed by Martin Guptill and Rohit Sharma with 2839 and 2773 runs respectively.

Rohit Sharma, Ashwin Improve Their ICC Test Ranking; Pujara In Top 10
By scaling six places, Rohit Sharma has attained the eighth spot - his career-best - in the ICC Test rankings. India Vs England: BCCI Allows Players' Families During Quarantine
Ahead of hosting India-England tour, the Indian cricket team on January 28 cleared their first of the three-round COVID-19 RT-PCR test. The BCCI has also allowed the players to be accompanied by their families. For this, a BCCI official said that coming from a wearying Australian tour, a hard and "lonely" quarantine could be extremely burdensome for the players. ICC ODI Rankings: Virat Kohli Maintains Top Position; Rohit on Second
