Karnataka Ministers To Donate One Year Salary For COVID Relief
Karnataka Revenue Minister R Ashoka on April 29 announced that all the ministers of the state have decided to donate their one year's salary to the COVID-19 relief works. The unanimous decision was taken following the recently announced lockdown in the state from April 27 to May 12. He also stated that about 230 acres of land have been reserved for cremation purposes.

COVID-19 Blues: 77% Indian Adults Lose Income Due To Pandemic

Employees Vandalise iPhone Plant In Karnataka Over Salary Issue
An iPhone manufacturing plant in Karnataka's Kolar district was wrecked on December 12 by its own employees who were disgruntled over salary-related issues. Vistara CEO: Salary Review For the Employees will be Done in January, 2021
Vistara's Chief Executive Officer, Leslie Thng, said that there will be no 'lay offs' but the 'salary cuts' will be reviewed. "With the intent of protecting all jobs at Vistara, we have had to make the difficult decision of reducing some staff costs by salary cuts," he further added.
