145 People Sick After Having Biryani At Assam Govt Event

Due to speculated food poisoning in Assam's Karbi Anglong district, about 145 people were hospitalized after having biryani. While CM Sarbananda Sonowal, who also attended the function, has ordered a probe, the state health minister revealed the demise of one attendee. Reportedly, 117 are still being treated and reported stable. The victims attended the inaugural programme of MBBS course at Diphu Medical college, where they were served packed biryani
