Karnataka Judiciary Determined To Reopen 55 Taluk Courts in the State
The Karnataka judiciary has decided to reopen 55 Taluk courts from September 28. The courts will be allowed to resume physical hearing and record evidence. The HC has issued an SOP and according to it, the witness and accused who appear before the court will have to mandatorily submit COVID-19 negative certificate. Courts are also being modified to follow social distancing norms. All courts are ready to re-open in a phased manner.
