In a shocking incident, the Railway Police Force (RPF) shot down four people, Jaipur-Mumbai Expressway. On July 31, RPF constable CT Chetan open fired at passengers on board, including one RPF assistant sub-inspector at Palghar Station, Maharashtra. The constable on duty opened fire in B5 coach, resulting in death of three civilians and AS Tika Ram. Chetan is arrested and the weapon has also been taken into custody for investigation.

A Mumbai-based woman was harassed by three unidentified men recently in Vikhroli suburb of the city which shook her and caused distress.The incident happened at night near Vikhroli Park Site and she was with her husband at the time; the two then filed a complaint in the matter. The woman said that the incident happened on July 16 and as of July 27, no action had been taken.

In Rajasthan's Karauli district, a Dalit girl was raped and murdered, brutally. On July 14, the police confirmed the incident and said, the 19-year-old girl was gang-raped. After the rape, the accused allegedly threw acid on her face and killed her. After committing the horrendous crime, the accused dumped the body into a well on Bhilapada road under Nadauti police station limits. In Delhi's Prashant Vihar, a 20-year-old college student was allegedly raped by a man, who the city police have arrested on July 13. The accused identified as Ravi Solanki, posed as a cop and threatened the victim to post her intimate video with her boyfriend online. He raped her and fled the apartment. When the victim confined to her boyfriend, the couple registered a case, leading to an investigation.

In the United States, Florida, 33-year-old John Dimmig allegedly beat wife's lover with a bat. On July 7, John went to an Airbnb and caught his wife, Christie Barbato, in bed with a colleague, a CT technician.  In anger, the accused started beating John and is now facing an attempt to murder charges. ""I felt like he was trying to murder me," said the accused. A case is registered for investigation.
