IAF Helicopter Made Emergency Landing In Rajasthan, No Casualties Reported
A helicopter of the Indian Air Force (IAF) made an emergency landing on a farm in Rajasthan's Hanumangarh district. On August 23, the police confirmed the landing, after the IAF developed a technical snag, informing that Its crew members are safe. Farmer Seeks Loan Of Rs 6.65 Cr To Buy Helicopter & Rent It Out
Kailas Patange (22), a farmer from Hingoli, applied for a bank loan of Rs 6.65 crore to buy a helicopter and rent it out. Patange, a resident of Taktoda village, applied for loan in a bank in Goregaon, stating that farming in the two acres of land he owns has become unaffordable due to irregular rainfall and drought-like conditions. "Who says only big people should have big dreams?," said Patange.

Indian Man Converts Tata Nano Into Helicopter, Rents It For Weddings: Bihar
Guddu Kumar, a mechanic from Bihar's Bagah, who is being hailed as an artist has turned the Tata Nano car into a chopper. Sharma spent Rs 2 lakh and now rents it for weddings for Rs 15,000. "In the era of Digital India, the invention is a living example of self-reliant India," said Sharma. Earlier, Mithilesh made the car into a chopper and Dattatraya Lohar built a jeep using scrap.

China To Add Over 7000 Civil Passenger Aircrafts In Next 20 Years
The civil aviation transport industry of China is reported to resume rapid growth by adding 7,646 new civil passenger aircraft over the next 20 years. Further, the total number of aircraft in China is likely to reach 5,343 by 2025. Furthermore, as per reports, China will be requiring 640 cargo aircraft in the next 20 years, while the civil helicopters are likely to exceed 10,000 by 2040.

Youtuber Charters A Chopper To Get Answer Of Physics Exam Question
Derek Muller, who owns the ''Veritasium'' YouTube channel, chartered a legitimate helicopter to answer how a uniform cable beneath a helicopter hangs. The question was given in the physics paper of a US Physics Olympiad exam in 2014. Muller chose to rent a helicopter instead of using basic stationery items such as books and pencils. After his research, he concluded that option D is the correct answer.

Man Dies After Helicopter Blade Falls On His Head
A man named Ismail Sheikh Ibrahim while building a helicopter in Maharashtra’s Fulsavangi village in Mahagaon taluka died as a blade from the helicopter fell on his head, the police reported on August 11. The 24-year-old mechanic has been building the helicopter for two years. The helicopter developed a glitch while he was working at his workshop. Though he was taken to the hospital, he died during the treatment.

Indian Navy Seeks 24 Utility Choppers On Lease For 5-Years
The Indian Navy on April 23 issued a Request for Information to foreign vendors and authorised leasing firms to lease 24 choppers. Seeking a five-year lease, the deal includes performance-based logistics support along with training of air and maintenance crew. Affirming on twin engine five-tonne chopper, the deal seeks choppers for search-rescue operations and medical evacuation at sea. The Centre has kept a deadline of June 18 for reply.
