Thousands Protest In Maharashtra's Malegaon, 4 Held: Karnataka Hijab Row
Amid the ongoing issue against the hijab ban in schools and colleges in Karnataka thousands of people gathered to protest in Maharashtra's Malegaon. The organization named 'Jamiet Ulema e Hind' has organized the protest and four organizers have been arrested under Section 144 for protesting against police permission. However, on January 1, 2022, the controversy began over the hijab and the matter is pending with the Karnataka High Court.

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau Moved From Ottawa's Home Amid Protest
Amid the Covid-19 restrictions protest, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his family have left their Ottawa home, CBC said on January 30. Earlier on January 29, thousands of truckers and other protesters converged in the Capital city in protest against Covid-19 restrictions. On January 28, truckers had arrived on Wellington street in front of the parliament. However, protests have been going peacefully so far.

1st Civilian Plane Lands At Kazakhstan's Almaty Airport After 'Mass Protest'
After the introduction of the state of emergency, the first civilian aircraft landed at Kazakhstan's Almaty airport. The Kazakh city situation got worsened due to the protest over a hike in gas prices. Paramilitary units were guided at the airport and civilian planes were prohibited. The Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan said on January 13, the Almaty airport would resume. Residents of Zhanaozen and Akatu started the mass protest.

Mutilated Body Of Man Found Near Singhu Farmers’ Protest Site
Mutilated body of a man, with hands and legs chopped off, was found near farmers’ protest site at the Singhu border in the early hours of October 15. The man was brutally murdered and his body found was found tied to a police barricade. the gruesome incident has caused huge outrage among the farmers. Urban Company Promises To Enhance Labours' Wages
