Search For Amritpal Singh Enters Day 5, Police On Alert

The search for wanted Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh entered the fifth day, on March 22. The Punjab Police, a team of 80,000 cops, are after Singh, who allegedly escaped the police. Furthermore, the Uttarakhand Police on Tuesday conducted a combing operation at gurdwaras, hotels and in areas on the Indo-Nepal border in Udham Singh Nagar district to nab Singh. Meanwhile, the Haryana and Punjab HC is monitoring the police.

In breaking news, the wanted absconding Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh was seen crossing Punjab Toll Plaza, in an SUV. The visuals are going viral on the social media platform, and is a major concern, as the hunt of Amritpal is underway since March 18.  Meanwhile, the Punjab and Haryana HC slammed the police, a team o 80,000 cops, for failing to nab Amritpal and asked to submit reports.

Punjab Police Busts Terror Module, Arrested 4 Ahead of Independence Day

In Punjab, the state police claimed to have busted a Pakistan ISI-backed terror module. On August 14, the terror outfit was busted and four persons were arrested with three hand grenades, one IED (improvised explosive device), two pistols and 40 cartridges. The arrest was made after a joint operation was carried out jointly by the Punjab Police and the Delhi Police. The bust was made ahead of the 76th-Independence Day.
