Adani Groups To Hire Independent Audit Amid Claims Of Hindenburg Report
India's Adani Group has appointed accountancy firm Grant Thornton for independent audits of some of its companies. The decision to hire independent audits was taken to rubbish the claims of the Hindenburg report, which claimed irregularities and financial fraud by Adani Groups. Although the Adani Group denied all the allegations, investors are said to be concerned and have withdrawn the investment.

Not Using Condom Without Consent Of Partner Is Crime: Canada Court
Canada's court ruled that removing condoms without the consent of a partner is a crime. On July 30, the Canadian court gave the verdict in a case filed by a woman, who predicated a contract with the accused whom she met online(2017) and had sex for physical compatibility. However, in one of the two times, the man allegedly didn't use condoms, due to which the woman contracted HIV treatment.

UP Woman Raped In Bid To Religion Conversion, Investigation Underway
Another rape incident was reported in Uttar Pradesh, where a 28-year-old government teacher was allegedly raped by a man named Amir. The crime was committed and recorded in a bid to pressure her to change her religion and marry him. On May 13, the Shahjahanpur Police said, they registered a case under the UP Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act against Amir and four others and investigation is launched.

ED Slams Xiaomi Over 'Baseless' Allegations Of Threats
The Enforcement Directorate has strongly denied the allegations of threats of violence against Xiaomi employees and their families. The ED has also disputed the claims that it had recorded statements from Xiaomi's employees under coercion. On May 7, the ED issued a statement, insisting that it is a professional agency with "strong work ethics." In a May 4 filing before the Karnataka HC, Xiaomi had accused the ED of threats.

Kapil Sharma Thanks Anupam Kher To Clarify Allegations Of 'The Kashmir Files' Promotion
The allegations for not to be invited to The Kapil Sharma Show for promoting The Kashmir Files started off as the director tweeted that "it's his and the producer's choice" which further caused a rift in Twitter community with fans using 'Boycott Kapil Sharma'. Later Anupam Kher, the film's lead clarified it when a TV anchor asked the question saying to never believe in "one-sided stories".

Government Grants 'Y' Category Security To Kumar Vishwas
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has granted 'Y' category security to former AAP leader Kumar Vishwas. In addition, This came just days after Vishwas accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of having links with separatists in Punjab. The security will cover 7 personnel, 3 personal security officers (PSOs), a commanding officer, and three static guards.
