Union External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Bali, on July 7. The meeting was held with a focus on "specific outstanding issues,' happened on the sidelines of a meeting of the foreign ministers of G20 countries. "Began my day in Bali by meeting FM Wang Yi of China. Discussion lasted one hour. Focused on specific outstanding issues in our bilateral-relationship,' Jaishankar tweeted.

Spain Foreign Minister Scheduled To Visit India, Aims Bilateral Ties
Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares Bueno is scheduled to visit India on June 15. The agenda behind the visit is to strengthen bilateral cooperation in trade, defense, climate change, and scientific innovation. During the visit, Jose Manuel will meet External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Jose's visit was confirmed by the EAM, through Twitter. Notably, the visit came after Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Spain in 2017.

Italian Foreign Minister On Three-Day Visit To India, Will Hold Meetings
Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio is on a three-day visit to India for the first time, from May 4, aiming to expand bilateral relations in trade investment, defense and security, and clean and green energy. The Italian delegation will hold meetings with Indian officials, review progress of "Action Plan 2020-24" and meet Union Minister Piyush Goyal. The Italian minister will also hold a business-round table meeting, on May 6.

Ukraine A Wake-Up Call For Europe To Look At Asia, Says S Jaishankar
Ukraine is a wake-up call for Europe to look at what has been happening across Asia, said EAM S Jaishankar during a session at the Raisina Dialogue. "Things have been happening in Asia for the last 10 years. Europe may not have looked at it... it could be a wake-up call for Europe to also look at Asia," he said while referring to the Ukrainian crisis.

Nepal PM Begins 3-Day Tour Of India, Likely To Meet Union Minister
Nepal PM Sher Bahadur Deuda is set to begin his three-day tour of India, from April 1. Nepal PM will be accompanied by high-level officials and his spouse Arzu Deuba.
