HP CM Orders Beefing Up Of Security Along State Borders
Himachal Pradesh CM Jairam Thakur has ordered the beefing up of security along the borders with other states. This comes after some Khalistani flags were found tied to the gates of the state assembly. Thakur has condemned the incident, and urged the state's residents to maintain peace in the state. Thakur shared, "We will soon review the security system at our borders with other states."

J&K Security Force Seizes Ammunitions In Kupwara
In Jammu & Kashmir's Kupwara district, the security forces have seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition from a village near the Line of Control (LoC). The information was confirmed by the union territory police on April 19. As per PTI, the police recovered 10 pistols, 17 pistol magazines, 54 pistol rounds, and five hand grenades. Notably, the search operation was carried out after intelligence input.

Delhi Police Arrests 9 People In Jahangirpuri Violence, Tighten Security

Mumbai Police Assures Full Security During IPL 2022
In an official statement, Mumbai Police said that they are all geared up to ensure security of players and organisers of IPL 2022, scheduled in the city. On March 24, the police also dismissed terrorist inputs and confirmed extra security at hotels and stadiums where IPL will be held. Notably, 10 teams are participating in the 15th edition of the IPL.

Bhagwant Mann of AAP has issued orders to withdraw the security of many former ministers and MLAs in Punjab on March 12. Paragliding, Hot Balloon Flights Restricted During PM Modi's Visit: Pune
PM Modi is scheduled to visit Pune on March 6 to launch various developmental projects including Pune Metro. Ahead of PM's visit, District Collector Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh has issued an order to stop all paragliding activities and hot air balloon flights. "Legal action will be taken against anyone who violates the order under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code," the order states.

Security Beefed Up Ahead Of Polling In Uttarakhand
