CCTV To Be Installed As Per Delhi Court Order At Tihar Jail's Senior Police Offices
The Director General of Tihar Jail has been ordered by the Delhi Court to install CCTV cameras within the offices of the jail's Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent. The court recently issued an order, stating, "It will further reflect transparency in the functioning of these offices." This was in response to an incident on March 27 where an inmate was reportedly mistreated within the chamber of the Deputy Superintendent in Jail.

Delhi Court Summons Filmmaker Leena Manimekalai For Kaali Controversy
Leena Manimekalai, a filmmaker, has received a summons from a Delhi court on a lawsuit that aims to prevent her from showing the goddess Kali smoking a cigarette. A lawsuit was lodged against Manimekalai for representing the Hindu deity in an "uncalled manner" in the "Kaali" poster and commercial video, which featured the goddess smoking a cigarette. Satyendar Jain's ED Custody Extended Till June 13 : Delhi Court
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody of the Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has been extended till June 13. A Delhi district court judge, on June 9, reviewed the custodial plea and extended the ED custody. Notably, Satyendar Jain has been arrested by the ED in a money laundering case, happened in 2017. He has been arrested on May 31 and has been under judicial custody since then.

Police Custody Of Lawrence Bishnoi Extended For Another 5 Days By Delhi Court
Lawrence Bishnoi's police detention was prolonged for another five days on June 5 by a Delhi court. The Delhi police will transport him to Rajasthan's Jodhpur and Ganga Nagar for a probe into the Arms Act case. On May 31, CMM Patiala House Court ordered him to be held in police custody. Lawrence was detained in connection with an Arms Act complaint filed at the Narela Police Station in Delhi.

Delhi Court Issues Notice To Present Accused For Rishabh Pant Cheque Bounce Case
In a cheque bounce case filed by cricketer Rishabh Pant, Delhi Court ordered Arthur Road Jail authorities to present accused Haryana player Mrinank Singh. Mrinank Singh is accused of defrauding Rishabh Pant under the guise of arranging discounted watches and other accessories. Singh allegedly failed to collect the products, and the agreement was canceled. Following that, the parties reached an oral agreement for Rs 1.63 crores.

Ratan Lal, DU Professor, Detained In Connection With Gyanvapi Mosque Post, Given Bail
Delhi court issued bail to Delhi University professor Ratan Lal on May 21, who was detained on May 20 over a social media post purportedly designed to offend religious beliefs following the alleged discovery of 'Shivling' within the Gyanvapi Mosque complex in Varanasi.
