Undocumented Indian Immigrants' Spending Power Is $15.5 Bn: US Report

Over half a million undocumented Indian immigrants are the third largest contributor to the US economy with a collective spending power of $15.5 billion, revealed an American think-tank's report. GOP Congressmen Introduce Legislation Of H-1B Visas In US

A proposal to renew the H-1B visa was put forward in the US' House of Representatives by Republican Congressmen Mo Brooks, Matt Gaetz, and Lance Gooden. Reportedly, the bill states a foreign worker won't be given H-1B visa unless the employer files an application with the Secretary of Labor. Brooks said, “The bill will require employers to pay any H1B workers a minimum amount of USD 110,000".

ATS Mumbai Busts Bangladeshi Gang For Issuing Fake Documents

The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on December 14 arrested eight people for running a forged document racket in Mumbai. Rajasthan: Hindu Migrants from Pakistan Die; Mass Suicide Suspected

In Jodhpur district of Rajasthan, 11 Hindu refugees of a family from Pakistan died on August 9 and only one member was found alive, said the police. However, according to the SP (Rural) Rahul Barhat, the sole survivor has no idea about the incident. While indicating of family dispute, Barhat said that there was a smell of some chemical around the hut that suggests a case of mass suicide.
