An SUV carrying four passengers, veered off from Goa's Zuari bridge, and fell 100 feet into a river, past midnight on July 27. A search operation has been initiated to trace the vehicle, while all passengers have gone missing. Reportedly, the operation is underway with the assistance of Indian Navy. According to the eye witnesses, the driver lost control and rammed into the balustrade.

In Madhya Pradesh's Damoh district, a dumper truck hit a motorcycle, killing three people, said police, on July 8. Rohit Namdeo (22), Sunil Sen (35) and Rambharose Patkar (35) died on the spot, as their motorcycle hit the dumper truck. Reportedly, a case has been registered against the truck driver, and his vehicle has been impounded. Furthermore, the accused fled the spot, and a search is on.

In Rajasthan's Barmer, eight members of a family died in a road accident, after their SUV collided with a trailer. The incident occurred near the Mega highway, when an SUV carrying nine persons was returning from a marriage function. About six died on spot, two later succumbed to injuries during treatment, and one survived with serious injuries. Reportedly, it took over two hours to retrieve the bodies from the vehicle.

A road accident near Latur, Maharashtra, has left eight people dead. The incident occurred on April 23, when a truck and a cruiser vehicle collided. As many as eleven people have been injured in the accident. Ashok Kharat, Assistant Police Inspector, Bardarpur Police, has shared, "Eight people died on the spot, and eleven are seriously injured." He further stated that they have been receiving treatment at a local hospital.
