Uttarakhand Creates History After 62.5% Population Turn-Out For Voting

Post Assembly elections on February 14, the Uttarakhand CM & BJP leader Pushkar Singh Dhami said that people have created history by voting in such large numbers. "I hope that the new government will work for a golden future of Uttarakhand," Dhami said to ANI. Reportedly, almost 62.5% people have voted in the assembly polls 2022. Punjab CM Channi To File Suit Against Delhi CM Kejriwal

Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi on January 21 said that he would file a defamation case against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, for calling him a 'dishonest man', following ED raids at some places including the premises of Channi's nephew. Channi claimed that Kejriwal has crossed the limits, and sought permission of party to file a case against him. Kejriwal had earlier called Channi "a dishonest man" after an ED raid.

Amit Palekar To Be AAP's CM Candidate For Goa Elections: Arvind Kejriwal

Ahead of Goa Elections, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal on January 19, announced Amit Palekar as a chief ministerial candidate. "Amit Palekar is an advocate by profession and comes from the Bhandari community," said Kejriwal. AAP will contest elections for all 40 seats in Goa. Yogi Adityanath Likely To Contest Elections From Ayodhya: UP Assembly Polls

PM Modi To Meet Chief Ministers To Discuss Covid-19 Situation On Jan 13

Citing Omicron's situation, PM Narendra Modi is expected to chair a review meeting with the state CMs on January 13, at 4:30 pm via video conferencing. Goa CM Announces Electric Mobility Promotion Policy 2021

Goa Government on December 4, announced Goa Electric Mobility Promotion Policy 2021 for the next five years. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said, the policy will help to generate 10,000 new jobs in the state and also encourage investment. For every 25 km on the highway there will reportedly be charging stations and for every 3 km in the city. About 50 stations will be installed within 3 months, he added.
