Mathura Police Arrests 2 Accused In Minor's Gang Rape, 2 Absconding

In a rape case, the Mathura Police arrested two youths for raping a minor girl(13), filming the act and sharing on online platforms. Notably, in early June, a case was registered against four accused, of which two have been arrested, two are absconding. Victim's father registered the FIR, after his daughter was raped by four, of which two arrested are Pramod and Rahul. The investigation to nab remaining is underway.

Mumbai Police Arrests 1 For Alleged Molestation Of Minor, Investigation Underway

In Mumbai's Dindoshi area, a man was arrested for alleged molestation of a 13-year-old minor, confirmed police on May 29. The incident happened when the victim was alone at home and tried to molest her, when protested, the accused threatened to kill her. The victim's parents registered an FIR with Dindoshi Police, immediately.  A case has been registered under sections of the IPC, POCSO, and an investigation is underway.

Mentally Challenged Man Kills Father, Police Launches Investigation: Maharashtra

In Maharashtra's Palghar area, mentally challenged man Kashinath (40) murdered his father Pandu Savji Molve (70,) confirmed police. On May 22, the police said, Kashinath murdered his father with an ax at a field in Mokhada taluka on May 21. The police were informed by the accused's wife, following which a case under the relevant section of the IPC was registered. An investigation has also been launched into the matter.

2 Arrested For Rape & Murder Of 20-Year-Old In Hazaribagh: Jharkhand

Vimal Kumar (22) and Lal Pratap (20) have been arrested by Jharkhand's Hazaribagh police, for the rape and murder of a 20-year-old girl, on May 8. The incident reportedly occurred on May 7, following which, the girl's body was tossed into a pond. According to the police, both the accused have admitted to the crime. Bihar Singer Gang Raped, Police Arrests 3 People

In Bihar's Patna, a professional singer (28) was gang-raped by three accused, identified as Pintu Kumar, Karu Kumar, and Sanjiv Kumar, confirmed police on May 7. Notably, the victim, who performs on functions was booked for an event, but when she reached the venue, the accused allegedly raped her. Somehow she escaped and registered a complaint with the police, who booked the accused under IPC sections and arrested them.
